Two weeks ago, I left for a trip to Yosemite National Park with my 9th grade class. we left January 20th, and came home on the 25th. We flew to San Jose, California and got on a bus to Yosemite. When we got there it was cold and rainy, and I was very grateful for the heated cabins. We ate dinner, and then got settled into our new temporary living space. The next day I woke up and the outside looked like a winter wonderland, I felt like I was in a movie. It snowed all night and everything looked beautiful. We got to hike all day and have some snowball fights. On Tuesday, the snow started to melt and the ground got icy. We got to cross country ski all day, which was so fun and challenging. Wednesday was our challenge hike day, which was very difficult but worth seeing the beautiful view of Yosemite falls. Once we finished the hike, we packed our things and got on our bus to our next location in Yosemite. When we got there, we unpacked and ate a delicious dinner. For our last day, we got to hike to the enormous sequoias and play in the snow. I had such an amazing time with all my friends and it was such a great experience to see so many new things that I can’t see back home!
This is so cool Laura. You described the whole trip so well!
